Reshma Sood

DOCTORATE OF PSYCHOLOGY (CLINICAL)/ BACHELOR OF ARTS (HONOURS IN PSYCHOLOGY)

Reshma is a Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the College of Clinical Psychologists.

​

She has been employed in a variety of public and private mental health services, general hospital, private practice, and university counselling for 18 years. She has experience in working with a range of issues, including work-related stress, depression, anxiety, OCD, post-natal depression, trauma, low self-esteem, addictive behaviours, chronic health issues, grief and loss, eating and body image issues, psychosis and dealing with the aftermath of abuse.

She draws from a range of therapies including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Mentalization Based therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to help clients to find more effective ways of coping with, and responding to, their difficulties.

She is able to see clients in person at the clinic or over telehealth currently.

Reshma will be at the Camberwell Medical Group on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
